Somewhere between touching down on
the Cape of South Africa and teeing off above the Indian Ocean it dawned
on us: there’s a happy convergence between golf and travel.
Golf Travel Impresarios is the collaboration of two guys: one an avid golfer
with a knack for travelling, the other an avid traveller with a passion
for golf. We won’t say who the scratch player might be, nor will we
divulge which of us knows his Montrachet from his Pastis. Just know
you’re in good hands.
We believe there’s an art to trip planning, especially where golf is
concerned: Find the world’s greatest courses, secure first-class
accommodations, serve exquisite meals with exceptional service, and
throw in the odd cultural gem.
The smaller details differ from traveller to traveller, of course, but
we think we know what certain groups require in Ireland and what others
might desire in Scandinavia.
Golf Travel Impresarios provides the perks to pad your game in all the right places off
the course. On the course, well that’s entirely in your own hands.

Ben Cowan-Dewar
The Golf Guy
Ben founded Golf Travel Impresarios in 1999, when his passion for the game
fuelled him to leave the finance world. While establishing
Golf Travel Impresarios , Ben kept his feet on the ground by managing a golf
marketing consulting business, and worked for clients in 20
countries. Finally he was able to focus exclusively on what he
loved most, and has since planned and lead Golf Travel Impresarios trips to
destinations as diverse as Australia, Indonesia, France and
Dubai. Scouting the world's best courses has taken Ben across
five continents.
Ben sits on the
GOLF Magazine
panel that is the authoritative
rating of the world's finest courses.
He is a partner of the acclaimed golf architecture website
GolfClubAtlas.com
and is currently building a seaside
course in Eastern Canada;

Chris Tabbitt
The Travel Guy
After a warm-up in equities trading, a foray into international
sports coverage and a year in Provence working at a Relais &
Chateaux, Chris joined
Butterfield & Robinson, the world's
premier active travel company. During his 10 years as a senior
executive at B&R, Chris learned from the best in the industry
and quickly became an impassioned advocate for the rights of the
traveller: to be inspired, to be challenged, and to be utterly
pampered every day, all day.
