South Island Post-trip |

While the best golf is on the North Island, it is the South
Island that makes you consider giving up your Co-Op and just
moving to New Zealand for good.
Our six-day post-trip is designed to make sure you see and
experience the best of New Zealand that is unrelated to golf.
While additional golf could be found, we have designed this
portion with the idea that you will leave your clubs behind and
have them magically appear again at the airport, when you’re
ready to return home.
After your last round of golf at Paraparaumu, you will be met by
Helicopter to whisk you to the exclusive Wharekauhau Lodge for
two days of ultimate relaxation on the southern shore of North
Island. The views from your suites looking over the South
Pacific Ocean are superb and the food is incredible.
From our remote coastal environment we move to the South Island
where for the following two nights we explore Christchurch. The
South Island stood in for Middle-earth during the filming of
Lord of the Rings, but you will swear Christchurch has placed
you in middle England. Beautiful old cathedrals, punts drifting
down the Avon river and beautiful gardens throughout the city.
Our final destination is the jaw dropping beauty, named
Queenstown, the primary location for the film Lord of the Rings
and the adventure capital of the world. Where you can go
rafting, bungee-jumping, jet boating and paragliding all in one
day. Of course, for those of you who have less desire for an
adrenalin surge, Queenstown hosts a wide range of artists,
gorgeous walks and the Otago Vineyards with their famous Pinot
Noirs. |
